About Kraken Forge

Kraken Forge was never meant to be just another jewelry store.

It started with a kid in the Lowveld bush of Mpumalanga who was obsessed with building things with his hands.

At five years old, I got my first drill machine, and from that moment I was hooked. I spent my childhood making, breaking, rebuilding, and learning everything I could on my own. Growing up surrounded by the bush, wild landscapes, old trees, rivers, metal, wood, dust, and adventure shaped the way I see craftsmanship today.

I never connected with mass-produced jewelry.

It all felt lifeless. Identical. Like it was made by machines with no story behind it.

To me, jewelry should mean something.

It should carry memories.
It should feel personal.
It should have soul.

I started making my own jewelry when I was 13 years old, and I still wear the very first necklace I made every single day more than 13 years later. Not because it’s perfect — but because it means something to me. It carries history, effort, and a part of who I am.

That idea became the foundation of Kraken Forge.

Every skill behind this brand has been self-taught through years of trial, failure, curiosity, and passion for creating. No factory production lines. No generic designs made to look like everything else online.

Just a deep respect for craftsmanship and creating pieces that stand apart.

Kraken Forge is inspired by strength, nature, and individuality. Our rings combine premium materials like titanium, ceramic, wood, and metallic inlays with designs influenced by the raw beauty of the African landscape and the forged strength of handcrafted work.

Every ring is created for people who want something with character — not something everyone else already has.

This brand is still a passion project.
I still work full time.
